Modern football is 100% about money. 88 or 89 of the 92 professional clubs (is it 92? something like that) will never have a hope of winning the Premiership. This season has the 6 richest / best resourced clubs in the top 6 positions.

Re: QPR v West Ham - Official Match Thread FT 0-0
I don't care what anyone says, bar say 6 teams the rest of the league is average and to get 2 from 17 is a fucking disgrace with the amount that has been spent and players we have. That boils down to the manager I am afraid and his tactic of 'doing enough'

Well sorry, but 'doing enough' is not good enough. We know we are nowhere near the CL places but we should be challenging for trophies and the top 8 as a minimum.

Stagnating season after season in 10-14th place and surrendering in cups may be OK to some (including the owners as all they care about is their place in the PL and the shit hole new piss pot stadium) but for a lot it is not enough given such a baron spell over the years.

...and yes, whilst it may not help the team I DO blame some of our fans for not having ambition either and renewing year on year and swallowing everything the clubs PR spews out.

He's wheeled out the injuries and missed chances line again. Did he not see the saves Adrian was making ? Are we the only team that gets injuries ?

Do the right thing Dave

We just can't link midfield and attack. Mainly because the ball by passes those little areas behind the opposition's midfield and defence.

I think Allardyce is more comfortable with long ball and trying to win 2nd balls or whatever, than passing it forwards.

Almost every one of our build up plays ended up back to Adrian to smash to nobody.

I think the writing is on the wall for bfs. We had a nightmare fixture list n the middle of the season so the results, while not great, were ok given the much easier run in. We've not shown anything since then though.

Absolutely nothing going forward. If this is the best that Sam can manage then we will be in a relegation battle next year. Sam is back to usual. This has to be the most defensive negative West Ham side I have seen since the mid 70s.

Respect the point against a team who were shit.

Sorry staffs but that's not true. Our first team strength is poor, and their attitude quite shit. To think, we gave them a nice Dubai holiday as well.

I don't buy that it's down to squad strength. With one or two notable exceptions, we have a good starting XI. Yes, we need a bit more depth but I think the first half of the season showed what this group of players can do if they have a decent manager and are asked to try and win games rather than not lose them.

Re: QPR v West Ham - Official Match Thread FT 0-0
Every single member of West Ham's playing staff and managerial/coaching staff need to be given an almighty bollocking for a truly disgusting second half of the season.

In any other walk of life it simply wouldn't be tolerated. Useless cunts are all laughing in our faces. Fourth in the table at Christmas to this in April? Get rid of the deadwood and the others can have a shortened holiday this year as they've already used some up during the season.

It all smacks of Avram's tenure except we have a bigger head start this season. The fat c*nt should have gone just after Xmas....like Grant. Seems some lessons never get learned by the owners

Weird as in the day when we all started playing football because we loved it and hoped to go as far as we could as a player !
Are we saying that these players that loved the game as a kid are only just interested in the money ?

Sad day's if this is true.
